The Hailea ACO Series is a lightweight, super silent diaphragm air pump for oxygenating nutrient reservoirs, with eight models spanning 78 to 3,600 litres per hour and output trimmed from the control on top. Most growers either drown a small tank in turbulence or starve a big one - this lets you set the air to the tank. Models run single or multi-outlet and sit on suspension feet, with air passing through an internal muffler on the way out.

Being able to wind output up as root mass fills out means one pump covers propagation through to a fully loaded reservoir.

How to Use

• Siting: flat surface near the reservoir and above the water line so solution cannot siphon back.
• Connection: fit airline to the outlet, push an airstone on the far end and submerge it.
• Setting output: adjust the top control until bubbling is steady without splashing the lid.
• Multi-outlet models: spread stones evenly, or run one per DWC pot.
• Run time: leave it running continuously - aeration should never be timed.
• Maintenance: keep the underside air intake clear and check stones for clogging.
