The Hailea HX Series is a versatile high jet pump that is fully immersible and can also run inline, outside the water. The ceramic shaft is built for fresh water and nutrient solutions, and a double water-cooled structure gives rapid heat dissipation. The super quality ABS case is anti-alkali and anti-corrosive. Supplied with clip-on filter hoods and mounted on suction cups, it is designed for continuous use, in four models from 1050 l/hr to 8000 l/hr.

Stagnant Reservoirs, Brown Roots and Slow Growth

Nutrient that sits still stratifies. Heavier salts settle out, EC reads differently depending on where you dip the meter, dissolved oxygen falls and roots go brown in warm, motionless water. Weak roots mean poor nutrient uptake and slow growth however carefully the tank was mixed. This pump covers pumping, oxygen supplying, wave making and pulse, NFT and filtration.

How to Use

• Size it: 1050 l/hr (HX8810), 2900 l/hr (HX8830), 5800 l/hr (HX8860) or 8000 l/hr (HX8890)
• Submerged: press the suction cups down with the pump fully under solution
• Inline: mount below the reservoir water line so it stays primed, and never run it dry
• NFT and recirculating: feed the top of the channel and let gravity return it
• Circulation and aeration: angle the outlet across the surface
• Maintenance: rinse the filter hoods and impeller housing between crops
