Hesi CalMag supplies calcium and magnesium for growers on reverse osmosis, rainwater or naturally soft supplies, and for any room where high light intensity has pushed demand past what the base feed carries.

Deficiency symptoms at a perfectly sensible EC
Yellowing between the veins of older leaves is magnesium; crisping on the newest tips is calcium. On soft or RO water a base feed cannot cover either, and raising EC makes matters worse rather than better because the missing elements simply are not in the feed.
How to Use
- RO and soft water: 1 ml per litre into plain water before the base feed
- Hard water: test first - usually unnecessary
- High-intensity lighting: up to 2 ml per litre through peak flower
- Mixing: never alongside a concentrated phosphate feed
- Media: soil, coco and hydroponics
