Hesi Hydro Grow is the vegetative base for hydroponics, clay pebbles and rockwool. It comes in soft water and hard water formulations - the soft water version carries its own calcium and magnesium, the hard water version leaves room for what your supply already provides.

Using the wrong formulation for your water
A soft water feed on hard tap water pushes total calcium too high and locks out iron and manganese. A hard water feed on RO leaves the plant short of calcium entirely. Both look like deficiencies and both get treated by feeding harder, which makes them worse. ⛑ Test your water first - under about 100 ppm is soft.
How to Use
- Which version: soft water under roughly 100 ppm or on RO, hard water above it
- Early vegetative: 3 ml per litre
- Late vegetative: 5 ml per litre
- Transition: reduce as Hydro Bloom comes in
- Target pH: 5.5 to 6.2
