Description
Fresh carbon for full chloramine protection
The Hydro-Logic Evolution-RO1000 Carbon Filter (ChloraShield) is the genuine replacement pre-filter cartridge for the Evolution-RO1000 system, rated for up to 100% chloramine removal at a 1 micron particle rating. Chloraminated mains water is common in many UK supply areas and is far harder on a reverse osmosis membrane and on root health than plain chlorine, so keeping this stage fresh protects both your RO membrane and whatever it feeds downstream.
Key Benefits
- Up to 100% chloramine removal, ahead of the RO membrane stage
- 1 micron rating for fine particulate capture
- Low pressure drop combined with high dirt-holding capacity
- Rated at 1 GPM, matched to the Evolution-RO1000's flow
- Particularly effective on city/mains water supplies
How to Use
- Fits the pre-filter stage of the Hydro-Logic Evolution-RO1000 system
- Replace after approximately 2,500 gallons purified, or sooner if flow drops noticeably
- Flush briefly before first use to clear any carbon fines
