Capable of producing up to 75 gallons (approximately 284 litres) of purified water per day, it removes up to 98–99% of dissolved contaminants, including chlorine, heavy metals and excess minerals that can interfere with nutrient mixing. How to Use
- Connect the RO system to a cold water supply using the supplied garden hose connector.
- Flush the system before first use following the manufacturer's instructions.
- Collect the purified water in a clean reservoir for mixing hydroponic nutrients.
- Monitor the pressure gauge to ensure the system is operating within the recommended pressure range (typically 40–80 psi).
- Replace the KDF/carbon pre-filter after approximately 1,000 gallons (3,785 litres) of product water, or sooner if water quality requires it.
- Replace the RO membrane every 6–18 months, or when purified water quality declines or production slows. Regular maintenance ensures consistently low-PPM water and optimum filtration performance.
