Description

Track Grow Room Temperature and Humidity From Your Phone

The iBebot AirComfort+ Bluetooth Hygrometer is a compact, battery-powered temperature and humidity sensor that logs your grow room climate around the clock and syncs it to a free app on iOS and Android. It reads temperature to ±0.5°C and relative humidity to ±4.5%, stores up to 4,032 readings on board, and turns them into hourly, daily, weekly and monthly graphs, so you can see what happened overnight rather than guessing from one spot reading.

Key Benefits

  • ±0.5°C and ±4.5% RH accuracy across -25°C to 45°C and 0-100% humidity
  • Up to 100 days of data held on the sensor - 14 days at a 5-minute interval, 100 days at 40 minutes
  • Custom alerts - set your own minimum and maximum for each room and get a push notification when a reading drifts
  • About 12 months on one CR2450 cell, so no mains socket is needed in the tent
  • Several rooms in one app - name each sensor, give it a photo and compare veg, flowering and propagation spaces at a glance
  • Carabiner included to hang it at canopy height, or stand it on its flat base

Why One Reading a Day Is Not Enough

The conditions that cause trouble rarely show up when you happen to look. Humidity climbs fast after lights-off as transpiration carries on and the air cools, and a few hours above the safe range is all mould and mildew need. Daytime heat peaks can stall growth and stress plants while you are out. A logging sensor shows the whole pattern - when airflow, extraction, heating or dehumidifying needs to change - and the alerts flag a fault before it shows on the leaves.

How to Use

  • Place it at canopy height, hung from the carabiner, out of direct light and away from humidifier mist - it is built for indoor use and is not waterproof.
  • Pair it with the free iBebot Growers app over Bluetooth (up to 10 m in open space) and name the room.
  • Choose a logging interval from 5 to 40 minutes - shorter for detail, longer for battery life and a longer history.
  • Set minimum and maximum temperature and humidity for each sensor to receive alerts, and sync whenever you are in range. For readings away from the grow room, add the iBebot Hub Wi-Fi bridge.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I see the readings when I am away from the grow room?

Not on its own - the sensor syncs over Bluetooth when your phone is within about 10 m, and keeps logging in between. For remote access, iBebot's Hub acts as a Wi-Fi bridge and uploads readings to the cloud; it is part of the AirComfort Wireless Full Kit.

How long does the battery last?

iBebot quote a minimum of 12 months on the CR2450 button cell at a 40-minute logging interval. Shorter intervals use more power. The cell is user-replaceable.

Can I use more than one sensor?

Yes. Each sensor appears as its own room in the app with its own name, picture and alert limits, so one phone can watch a veg tent, a flowering room and a propagation area side by side.

Where should I hang it?

At plant height in the middle of the canopy, out of direct light from the lamp and away from humidifier mist, which would push the humidity reading up and can damage the sensor.
