Hydro-Gro+ is a 100% natural, pH neutral and chemically inert growing medium for hydroponic and aquaponic systems. Because it contributes nothing of its own to the solution, whatever you dose is exactly what the roots receive. The open structure encourages roots to spread and branch rather than circle, and the soil-free approach sidesteps the soil-borne diseases that come with organic media while still giving beneficial bacteria and microbes plenty of surface to colonise. Reusable across several crops and stocked in 1 litre and 3 litre bags.

When Your Medium Fights You

Half the frustration in hydroponics comes from a medium with opinions of its own. It buffers the pH you just set, releases nutrients you did not add, or holds so much water that the roots never see air. An inert volcanic aggregate does none of that. It holds the plant up, drains freely and keeps out of the way, so the only variable left is the feed you decided to give.

How to Use

• Rinse the medium through with clean water before first use.
• Fill pots or system modules and settle the medium around the root ball.
• Feed little and often, since a free-draining aggregate holds less water than coco or soil.
• Watch for salt build-up and flush with plain water periodically.
• Wash, sterilise and reuse between crops.
