The standard-output Lumatek LED for an 80 x 80cm tent
The Lumatek ATTIS 200W — also sold as the ATS 200W — is Lumatek's compact, passively cooled full-spectrum LED. It produces 460 µmol/s PPF at 2.3 µmol/J across a 0.8 x 0.8m footprint, and runs completely fanless: no moving parts, no noise, and nothing to wear out over a rated 60,000 hours. At 508 x 508 x 86mm and 3.9kg it is slim enough to keep real headroom in a short tent.
Key Benefits
- \n
- \n460 µmol/s PPF at 2.3 µmol/J — the full-spectrum output measured at the fixture, not at the diode \n
- \nPassive, fanless cooling — silent in the room, with no fan to seize or clog \n
- \nMatched to an 80 x 80cm footprint, with a 110° distribution that keeps intensity even to the edges \n
- \nFive dimming steps — 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100%, so one fixture covers propagation through to full power \n
- \nSlim 86mm body that keeps headroom where ceiling height is the limit \n
- \n60,000 hour rated life, with none of the output decay of a lamp that needs annual replacement \n
ATTIS or ATS Pro — which one?
They cover the same 80 x 80cm footprint, and the difference is output. The ATTIS 200W gives 460 µmol/s at 2.3 µmol/J; the ATS 200W Pro gives 508 µmol/s at 2.5 µmol/J from a higher-specification driver and a sealed diode cover. If you want Lumatek's spectrum and build in a single small tent at the lowest outlay, the ATTIS is the sensible choice. If you want the most light that footprint will take, and the extra IP-rated protection, step up to the Pro.
Weak, stretched growth under an underpowered light
A light that cannot deliver enough intensity across the whole footprint produces the same pattern every time: excessive stretch as plants reach for the source, pale growth at the edges of the canopy where intensity has fallen away, and poor nutrient uptake because the plant is not photosynthesising hard enough to use what it is fed. The fix is not a bigger number on the box but the right PPF for the actual area — 460 µmol/s over 0.8 x 0.8m is a genuine match, where the same fixture stretched across a 1m x 1m tent is not.
How to Use
- \n
- \nMatch the area: keep it central over 80 x 80cm rather than stretching it across a larger tent \n
- \nStart low and high: around 20-40% and well above the canopy for seedlings and fresh cuttings \n
- \nBuild up gradually: raise the dimmer a step at a time through veg, watching the newest growth for any sign of light stress \n
- \nHang on rope ratchets so height is adjustable without unhooking anything \n
- \nKeep the bars clean — dust on the diodes costs output that no setting will recover \n
