Description
Sunlight-like spectrum for the full grow cycle
The LUMii Solar 315W CDM lamp is a double-jacketed ceramic discharge metal-halide lamp giving a spectrum much closer to natural daylight than a standard HID lamp, with a high ratio of genuinely useable light for plants.
Key Benefits
- Close-to-daylight spectrum – ceramic discharge technology gives a fuller, more natural light output than typical HPS or MH lamps.
- Low power draw, low heat – 315W CDM technology runs cooler than an equivalent HPS setup, easing heat management in a tent.
- Double-jacketed construction – built for durability and consistent output over the lamp's life.
- Works alongside or instead of HPS – an effective supplement to existing HPS lighting or a standalone light source.
- Compatible with other CDM ballasts – not locked to a single ballast brand.
Getting the light spectrum right through vegetative growth and flowering has a direct effect on stretch, leaf development and overall plant health - a lamp weighted too far toward one end of the spectrum can leave plants leggy or slow to fill out. The Solar range's more balanced, daylight-like output supports steady growth from early vegetative stages right through to flowering.
How to Use
Fit into a compatible CDM ballast and fixture rated for 315W, positioned at the manufacturer's recommended height for the wattage and canopy size. Allow the lamp to warm up fully before judging light output, and avoid frequent switching to maximise lamp life.
