The Mammoth S-MAX Pro is the most affordable route into a properly silenced EC fan. It runs the same EC motor technology as the Mammoth Juiced range inside a streamlined metal chassis lined with noise-dampening foam. Four sizes – 150mm, 200mm, 250mm and 315mm – move 594 m³/h to 2,987 m³/h. Each is plug and play, with a variable speed controller, power lead and hanging attachments included and a 2 year warranty.

Fan Noise, Heat Build-Up and a Rising Electricity Bill

An AC fan forces a compromise: run it flat out and the room is audible outside, or throttle it on a resistance controller and pay full power anyway while temperature and humidity climb. Warm, stale air stalls transpiration, showing up as slow growth, poor nutrient uptake and airy buds late in flower. An EC fan matches extraction to the room and cuts the draw at once.

How to Use

• Size it: exchange the room volume roughly once per minute, then add headroom for filter and ducting resistance
• Hang it from the supplied attachments rather than hard-mounting, so vibration stays out of the frame
• Order the run: filter, fan, then acoustic ducting out
• Dial in the speed on the supplied controller until temperature and humidity settle
• Run continuously through lights-on and lights-off to keep the environment stable
