A single-speed extractor is wrong half the year: too weak in a July heatwave, too strong in January when it strips heat and humidity out. The Mammoth TT solves that with a two-speed switch, so you run high through summer and back it off through winter. A fan stuck flat out drags temperature and humidity below target in winter, causing slow growth and sluggish nutrient uptake. Undersize it and summer heat builds, buds go airy and plants stretch. Two speeds match extraction to your lighting load and the weather.

How to Use

Fit the fan inline between your carbon filter and the exhaust, ideally at the far end of the duct run so the ducting sits under negative pressure and stays quiet. Size it to your lighting load: 100mm (4in) at 165 m3/h or 198 m3/h suits up to 1 x 400W, 125mm (5in) at 248 m3/h or 284 m3/h suits up to 1 x 600W, and 150mm (6in) at 410 m3/h or 530 m3/h handles up to 2 x 600W. Room shape, size and light type all shift this, so allow headroom. Run high in warm weather, drop to low as temperatures fall, and clean the impeller periodically.
