The Maxibright Daylight LED 660W is the standard-efficiency model in Maxibright's Daylight range, built around six clip-on bars of Lumileds white and Osram red chips. It delivers 1518 µmol/s PPF at 2.3 µmol/J, spreading light across the canopy from many angles rather than concentrating it in a single bright centre. Spread over six bars, that output covers a 1.2 x 1.2m or 1.5 x 1.5m footprint with genuinely uniform PPFD.

Bright in the middle, thin at the edges?

A single-panel fixture concentrates its output directly beneath itself, which scorches the plants in the centre and leaves those at the edges stretching for light. The result is an uneven canopy that never finishes together. Spreading the same 660W across six separate bars raises PPFD at the perimeter instead of the middle, and a passively cooled fixture adds no fan heat to a tent that is already working hard to hold its temperature.

How to Use

• Clip the six bars into the frame and hang the fixture centrally above the canopy on ratchet hangers.
• Start around 45-60cm above the canopy and lower it as the plants establish.
• Use the supplied controller to dim toward 30% for seedlings and early growth, raising output as the canopy fills.
• Keep air moving across the canopy - a fanless fixture is silent, but the room still needs the airflow.
• Re-check hanging height as the plants grow so coverage stays even edge to edge.
