Maxibright MaxiLED PRO TS 40W – Horseshoe Under-Canopy LED

Light the lower canopy, plant by plant

The Maxibright MaxiLED PRO TS is a 40W horseshoe-shaped LED that sits around the base of each plant on its own ground stake. It puts light on the lower leaves and side shoots that the main light above never reaches. Every light has its driver built in and a 1m link cable fitted, so a whole row plugs together and runs from one socket.

Why Light Under the Canopy?

In a tent, the top light does most of its work in the upper leaves. Lower branches sit in shade, stretch, and set small, airy flowers and fruit. A light at the base of each plant brings those sites up to a useful level, so more of the plant contributes to the crop, without lowering the main light or adding heat at the top.

Planning Your Run

• One light per plant — choose the number of lights to match your pots
• Spacing — lights sit 1m apart on their link cables; a 1m extension lead doubles the gap
• Power draw — 40W per light, so ten lights draw 400W in total
• Big rooms — one lead runs up to 25 lights, and kits of 26 lights or more come with a second lead

How to Use

• Push the ground stake into the pot beside the stem and fit the horseshoe to it at the height you want
• Turn the open side towards the stem and slide the light around the plant
• Link each light to the next with its built-in cable, then plug the power lead into the first light
• Run the lights on the same timer as your main light
