Description

Four plants, one tray, one valve – no pump and no timer

The MegaPot MultiPot 4 takes the gravity-fed MegaPot module and scales it up to four fabric pots on a single tray, all fed by one float valve. Set a reservoir above the tray, run one feed line to the hosetail, and the valve holds a shallow level of nutrient solution under all four pots, opening to top it up as the plants drink and closing again when the level is restored. Every plant gets the same steady supply of water and nutrients without hand-watering, so there is no overwatering one pot while the next dries out – the uneven feeding that holds back root development and nutrient uptake in hand-watered rooms.

This layout carries 4 x 16 litre SmartGro cloth pots on an 80 x 80 cm tray, which suits growers who prefer shorter cycles with more, smaller plants. Because it is part of the modular MegaPot range, you can run it alone or link further MultiPots and single modules to the same tank as the grow expands.

What's Included

  • MegaPot MultiPot 4 Tray – 80 x 80 cm, four pot positions
  • 4 x SmartGro Cloth Pots – 16 litre fabric pots
  • MegaPot Float Valve – one valve feeds all four pots
  • Hosetail – for the 16 mm feed line
  • 16 mm Triple Barb Tee – to branch the feed on to another tray

The MultiPot cover is sold separately and is not needed for the system to run.

Key Benefits

  • One valve, four plants – quick to set up, with fewer parts to check than four separate modules
  • No pumps, timers or power – gravity fed from a raised reservoir
  • Oversized inlet – MegaPot make the inlet twice the size of comparable systems, so it is far less likely to block
  • Raised pot positions – pots sit 10 mm above the tray floor, and the system is designed to take air rings for extra root-zone oxygen
  • Fabric pots included – four breathable 16 litre cloth pots that air-prune the roots
  • Modular – link more MultiPots or MegaPot single modules to one tank

How to Use

  • Place the tray level and set your reservoir higher than it so solution runs down by gravity.
  • Connect 16 mm feed pipe from the tank to the hosetail; use the triple barb tee to branch the line to further trays.
  • Add a 10 mm layer of pebbles to the base of each pot – about 1 L per 16 litre pot – to improve drainage and oxygen at the roots.
  • Fill the pots with coco or a free-draining mix, plant, and water each pot through from the top to start; the float valve then keeps the tray topped up.
  • Between crops, clean the tray and check the float moves freely and the inlet is clear.
  • For extra oxygen, fit air rings under the pots and run them from an air pump.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size tent does it fit?

The tray is 80 x 80 cm, so it needs at least that much clear floor space - in practice a 90 x 90 cm tent or larger leaves room to work around it and to place the reservoir.

Is the cover included?

No. The MultiPot cover is supplied separately by MegaPot's distributors; the tray, pots and valve run perfectly well without it.

Can I link it to MegaPot single modules?

Yes. Every MegaPot tray has its own float valve, so a MultiPot and any number of single modules can be fed from one tank on 16 mm pipe, branching with the triple barb tee.

Do I need a pump?

Not for watering - the system is gravity fed. An air pump is only needed if you fit air rings for extra oxygen at the root zone.
