Description
HPS grow glasses with a lighter, smaller fit
The Method Seven Lennox HPS+ brings Method Seven's HPS colour correction to a slimmer, rounded frame designed to fit smaller faces while still giving plenty of coverage. Its HPS+ lens, made with Carl Zeiss Vision, turns the orange-yellow light of high pressure sodium lamps back to natural colour, blocks UV, and has a silver mirror coating for the intensity of double-ended HPS bulbs.
The frame is hand-finished in Italy from acetate, the smooth, rich material used by premium eyewear houses, in Glossy Black or Brown Tortoise. Named after Mary Lennox of The Secret Garden, it looks like a good pair of sunglasses rather than safety wear, so it does not look out of place when you leave the grow room.
Key Benefits
- Natural colour under HPS – easier to judge leaf colour and spot pests or deficiencies
- Sized for smaller faces – 56 mm lenses and a 17 mm bridge that stay put
- Italian acetate frame in Glossy Black or Brown Tortoise
- Silver coating for DE HPS – cuts the glare of double-ended fixtures
- UV protection and less eye strain on long sessions
Grow Glasses That Actually Fit
Most grow-room glasses are wide wrap frames built for larger faces. On a narrower face they slip, let light in at the sides and end up being taken off, which means working under raw HPS glare with sore eyes and a distorted view of leaf colour that hides deficiencies and pest damage. A frame that fits stays on, and a lens that balances the light makes it far easier to judge plant health.
How to Use
- Wear them whenever the HPS lamps are on and you are working in the room.
- Made for HPS, including double-ended fixtures. For LED rooms, choose a Method Seven FX or LED lens.
- Clean with a soft microfibre cloth and fold the arms before putting them away.
- Keep acetate away from heat – never leave them on a reflector or ballast.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the Lennox fit me?
It is designed for smaller faces, with 56 mm lenses and a 17 mm bridge. If you have an average to large face, the Method Seven Resistance 2 or Evolution frames will give a better fit.
Is there any difference between the two colours?
Only the frame finish. Glossy Black and Brown Tortoise use the same HPS+ lens and the same Lennox frame shape.
Can I use them under LED grow lights?
No. The HPS+ lens is tuned for high pressure sodium. For full-spectrum white or blurple LEDs, choose one of Method Seven's FX or LED lenses.
