The DigiStep Temperature Controller pairs a heavy-duty step transformer with Mission Control's Enviro-Sense Night-Pulse and Dynamic-Mode technology, giving a smoother, more accurate hybrid-style speed change than a basic step controller. It drives up to two extraction or intake fans from one unit, automatically raising or lowering fan speed to hold a set room temperature rather than snapping between fixed steps.

Smoother Control Than A Basic Step Controller

A simple step controller jumps fan speed between fixed points, which can cause the room temperature to swing and the fans to surge noticeably every time they change speed. DigiStep's hybrid transformer and Dynamic-Mode logic take smaller, more frequent steps toward the target temperature, so airflow ramps rather than jumps — useful in rooms where sudden changes in extraction disturb humidity as well as temperature.

How to Use

Mount the controller to a wall or frame using the integral bracket, plug your fan or fans into the two outlets, and position the fixed temperature probe at canopy height away from direct light or airflow from the fan itself. Set the minimum and maximum fan speed dials to the range you want the controller to work within, then set the target temperature dial. The Night-Pulse LDR probe should be positioned where it can see the room's light cycle so it can pulse the fans down as lights switch off.
