Light The Lower Canopy, Not Just The Top

The Nanolux Under Canopy LED 135W is a slim full-spectrum LED bar designed to sit beneath the main canopy and push light up into the lower leaf sites that overhead lighting alone cannot reach. Its 150° beam angle spreads light broadly along its length, and the IP66-rated aluminium housing copes with the humidity found low in a canopy.

Shaded Lower Growth Sites

However good the overhead light, the lower part of a dense canopy is always shaded by the leaf and stem growth above it, and that shading slows development lower down the plant. An under-canopy bar sits inside the canopy itself, angled up into the foliage, so light reaches leaf sites that would otherwise sit in shadow for the whole cycle.

How to Use

Position the bar horizontally beneath the main canopy, angled up into the lower foliage, using the supplied stand or by clipping it to your tent framework or shelving. Connect the daisy-chain cable to link additional bars from one driver if running more than one. Raise the bar as the lower canopy fills in to keep it clear of direct leaf contact, and connect to a 0–10V dimmer if you want adjustable output.
