The OptiClimate PRO3 Split is the split-system version of the PRO3 water-cooled climate unit. The condensing side sits outside the grow space, which takes the compressor noise and the waste heat with it while the room keeps the same sealed, filtered, temperature and humidity control the standard PRO3 provides.

An in-room climate unit rejects its heat into the space it is cooling and runs a compressor at head height. In a domestic building neither is ideal. A split system moves both problems outside, which is usually what makes a sealed room workable at all.

How to Use

• Sizing: match the model to the lighting load, not to the floor area
• Installation: the refrigerant side is an F-Gas job - it needs a qualified engineer
• Water circuit: fit the pressure reducing valve and solenoid valve on a mains-fed supply
• Commissioning: set the controller's temperature and humidity targets before the first full cycle
• Servicing: replace the carbon filter on schedule and keep the exchanger clean
