Description
One dual-spectrum lamp for the whole grow cycle
The Parlux 600W Dual Spectrum Lamp is a Super HPS bulb built to cover both the vegetative and flowering stages from a single lamp, with no need to swap bulbs partway through a grow. It balances the blue wavelengths that drive vegetative growth with the red-heavy output flowering plants need, and is rated to put out around 10% more usable light than a standard single-spectrum HPS lamp of the same wattage.
Key Benefits
- Dual spectrum — one lamp covers vegetative and flowering without a bulb change.
- High-PAR output for a strong photosynthetic response through the cycle.
- Around 10% more light than a standard single-spectrum HPS lamp of the same wattage.
- E40 fitting — fits standard Euro and adjustable-wing reflectors.
- Long-life construction for extended use across repeated grows.
Running separate veg and flower bulbs means a lamp change partway through every cycle, and a mismatched or ageing bulb quietly costs light output long before it fails outright. A dual-spectrum lamp removes that step and keeps output consistent from the first week to the last.
How to Use
- Fit into an E40 reflector or fixture rated for a 600W HPS lamp.
- Hang at a safe distance from the canopy for the wattage, raising the fixture as plants grow.
- Run on a suitable 600W ballast — magnetic or digital/dimmable.
- Replace after its rated life to maintain full light output.
