Most growers filter the air leaving the tent and forget about the air coming in. The Phresh Intake Filter mounts at the entry point of your intake ducting and removes 98.7% of airborne contaminants before they ever reach your canopy, including mould spores, dust, pollen and insects. It uses APEX carbon-impregnated felt to do it while still keeping 87% of its airflow, so extraction stays balanced rather than choked. This is not an inline filter, it is a drum that sits on the end of the duct.

Stopping Mould and Pests at the Door
Thrip, mite and fungus gnat problems usually start as something drawn in through an unfiltered intake, and mould spores land on damp flowers long before you spot them. Filtering incoming air cuts that route off, which matters most in high humidity and late flower when dense heads are vulnerable. Cleaner air also means less dust on leaves, so light reaches the canopy properly.
How to Use
Remove the outer wrap, slide your intake ducting over the flange, secure it with a duct clip and seal the joint with tape for the best result. Match the filter size to your fan and duct size so you do not restrict flow. Expect a working life of up to 12 months depending on how dusty your environment is, and replace it when flow starts to drop.

What does an intake filter do?

Is it the same as a Phresh Professional carbon filter?
No. The Professional cleans extracted air for odour control. The intake filter cleans the air coming in, and also cuts the dust load that would shorten your carbon filter's life.
Will it choke my airflow?
It keeps over 90% of your intake flow, thanks to pleated nano-carbon felt with far more surface area than a flat mesh sock.
Which size do I need?
Match it to your duct and fan: 100mm (240 m3/h), 150mm (765 m3/h), 200mm (1,275 m3/h), 250mm (1,700 m3/h) or 315mm (2,040 m3/h).
How long does it last?
Three to twelve months, depending on how dusty your environment is. Replace it when the airflow starts to drop.
