Description
A silica additive for stronger, more resilient plants
Plant Vitality Nano Silicilate+ is a silicic acid additive (silicic acid 2%, boron 0.1%, molybdenum 0.001%) that strengthens cell walls and helps plants cope with stresses such as drought, heat, cold, pests and disease. It works best as a preventative, fed through the plant's life rather than used as a cure once problems appear.
It also helps move sugars and nitrogen around the plant and helps unlock calcium in the growing medium. It is made with Plant Vitality's Nano Particle Technology, which breaks the ingredients down to a uniform, minute particle size for consistent, readily absorbed feeding.
Key Benefits
- Strengthens cell walls for more rigid, upright growth
- Two root-feed rates - 0.5ml per litre normally, 1ml to keep growth compact
- Root feed or foliar spray
- Boron and molybdenum included
- Nano Particle Technology for readily available silica
Weak stems that can't carry the weight?
Soft, sappy growth bends under heavy flowers and fruit and is more open to stress. Feeding silica from early growth means every new cell wall forms stronger, so stems stay upright when the load arrives.
How to Use
- Normal rate: 0.5ml per litre from Grow 2 to Flower 7
- Compact growth: 1ml per litre to slow upward growth and keep the nodes closer together
- Foliar: 2ml per litre, once a week
- Mixing: add it to RO or dechlorinated water first, before any other nutrients, then check pH and EC
