Add UVA and Far-Red to the Light You Already Run
The PowerPlant Tube 25W UV/FR LED is a slim, tube-format supplementary grow light that adds UVA at 365, 385 and 395nm and far-red at 730nm to your main lighting. It is a supplement, not a stand-alone grow light. Each tube clips onto the frame of a multi-bar LED fixture with the brackets supplied, or can be hung alongside HPS, CMH or any other full-spectrum light in a grow tent or grow room.

Is Your LED Missing the Ends of the Spectrum?
Most white LED fixtures put their output into the visible band and give very little UV or far-red. Plants respond to both: UVA tends to produce sturdier, more compact growth and deeper leaf colour, while far-red paired with red light raises photosynthetic efficiency and influences how plants move into flowering and fruiting. A pair of tubes adds those wavelengths without replacing a light you have already paid for.
How to Use
- Fit the brackets to the bars of your LED fixture, or hang the tubes beside your existing light
- Link the tubes with their flying leads and plug the last lead into the power lead supplied
- Put them on a plug-in timer - the maker suggests about 2 hours a day within the lights-on period, adjusted to suit your crop
- Stay out of the room while the tubes are lit and never look directly at them - UV is harmful to eyes
