A Matched RAM Fan, Carbon Filter and Ducting in One Box

The RAM Air Kit brings together a RAM inline extractor fan, a RAM AirTECH carbon filter rated above the fan's airflow, 5m of RAM ALUDUCT low-noise ducting, a quick-release clamp and a UK mains lead, so extraction and odour control for a grow tent or grow room arrive as one order. The 125mm kit pairs the RAM Mixed-Flow fan (284m³/h) with an AirTECH LITE filter; the 250mm kit steps up to the RAM EC Mixed-Flow fan (1652m³/h) with an AirTECH HEAVY filter for larger rooms.

A closed tent under lights soon runs hot and humid, and stale air slows growth and invites mould. Extraction pulls that air out and draws fresh air in, while the carbon filter strips out odour before it leaves the room. Buying the parts as a matched kit means the fan is not starved by an undersized filter or duct.

How to Use

• Hang the filter at the top of the tent, where the warmest air collects
• Connect the filter to the fan inlet with ducting, following the airflow arrow so the fan pulls air through the carbon
• Duct the fan outlet out of the tent and secure each joint with the clamp or tape
• Size to your space: aim to change the tent's air every one to three minutes
