RAM AirTECH LITE Carbon Filter – For Grow Tents

Compact odour control that keeps pace with your fan

The RAM AirTECH LITE Carbon Filter is the compact end of RAM's AirTECH range: an activated carbon filter for grow tents and small grow rooms, machine-packed with premium Australian activated carbon so there are no loose pockets for air to slip through unscrubbed. Four sizes cover 100mm to 200mm ducting, rated from 250 m³/h up to 900 m³/h.

Why Tent Odours Get Out

Smell usually escapes for one of two reasons: the filter is too small for the fan, or dust has clogged it and the carbon bed has settled into channels. A clogged filter also chokes airflow, so heat and humidity build up in the tent and the fan works harder for less. The LITE's compacted bed and washable pre-filter deal with both, keeping extraction strong and the air leaving your grow space clean.

How to Use

• Size it to the fan: pick a filter rated about 20% above your fan's free-air flow, because ducting and the filter itself reduce the real airflow.
• Fit it: hang the filter high in the tent and connect it to the fan inlet with ducting and a clamp, or fix it straight onto the fan.
• Look after it: wash the pre-filter sleeve regularly and let it dry fully before refitting.
