EC efficiency and variable speed in one inline fan
The RAM EC Mixed-Flow Inline Fan combines a mixed-flow impeller with an EC (electronically commutated) motor that always runs at its optimum load, so it moves more air for less electricity than a conventional AC fan. It comes with a UK plug lead and variable speed control, in 8", 10" and 12" sizes rated at 1250, 1652 and 2206 m³/h.

Heat, Humidity and Stale Air
Without steady extraction a grow space quickly overheats under the lights, humidity climbs and fresh air stops reaching the canopy, which slows growth and invites mould. Because an EC fan can be dialled to exactly the airflow you need, you can hold temperature and humidity where you want them instead of running flat out or switching on and off.
How to Use
- Choose the size: match the fan to your ducting, and pair it with a carbon filter rated about 20% above the fan's free-air flow.
- Fit it: mount the fan on a firm support with the airflow arrow pointing away from the filter, and clamp the ducting to both spigots.
- Set the speed: start low, then raise it until temperature and humidity hold steady through the lights-on period.
