Description

Split One Duct Run Into Two, Without Losing Airflow

The Reducing Y-Piece Duct Connector takes a single larger duct and steps it down into two smaller branches from one join, so a single inline fan or filter can feed two tents, rooms or outlets instead of needing a second extraction unit. Pressed from galvanised sheet steel with rolled edges for strength, it has a snug male fit at the inlet and both branches, sitting cleanly behind a fan, filter or wall socket without flexing or leaking air at the joint.

Key Benefits

  • Two branches from one duct – splits a single fan or filter's output into two smaller-diameter runs, ideal for feeding two grow spaces from one extraction point.
  • Galvanised steel construction – pressed and rolled for a rigid fitting that won't distort under duct tension.
  • Male connections throughout – the main inlet and both branch spigots are sized to push-fit inside standard spiral and pressed ducting.
  • Rolled edges – smooth, strengthened rims reduce the risk of snagging or damaging duct walls during fitting.
  • Single-piece build – no loose parts to lose, and no extra couplers needed beyond a standard duct clip or tape.

How to Use

Push the larger spigot fully home over the outlet duct — fan, filter or wall socket — and secure with a jubilee clip or duct tape for an airtight seal. Fit each of the two smaller branches into their own duct runs the same way, checking both sit square before taping so airflow balances evenly between the two runs. No tools beyond a clip or tape gun are needed, and the fitting unclips and reuses cleanly if a system is reconfigured.
