A high flow 150 GPD reverse osmosis membrane and the working heart of your filter. It removes or reduces up to 95% of all mineral salts and heavy metals from tap water, giving a clean, low-EC base for mixing feed. It fits the Power Grow 500, Mega Grow 1000 and Maxquarium 000 PPM. Membranes are a consumable: as they load with dissolved solids, output slows and rejection drifts, so a tired membrane quietly costs you the clean water you bought the system for. Swapping it on schedule restores flow rate and rejection.

Hard Water, Rising EC and Poor Nutrient Uptake

Tap water across much of the UK arrives loaded with calcium and magnesium before you add a millilitre of feed. That background EC eats your nutrient headroom, skews base feed ratios and shows up as lockout, slow growth and poor nutrient uptake. A worn membrane makes it worse, because the water coming out is no longer as clean as your feed chart assumes.

How to Use

• Isolate the supply and depressurise the housing before opening
• Fit the new membrane with the seals facing the inlet, as originally installed
• Flush to waste before collecting water for use
• Replace every 6 months to 2 years depending on usage and input EC
• Replace the carbon filter every 6 months, as chlorine damages the membrane
• Check output EC periodically to judge when performance is dropping
