The SolisTek 1000W SE HPS Lamp is a single-ended high pressure sodium grow lamp with a standard E40 screw cap, so it drops straight into most 1000W reflectors and lamp holders. SolisTek build their lamps with low-iron quartz glass, which lets more of the UV end of the spectrum through, and tune the gas fill for high-frequency digital ballasts. The 2000K spectrum is the classic warm HPS light that drives flowering and fruiting.

Why Replace an Old HPS Lamp?
An HPS lamp keeps glowing long after it has stopped doing its job. Output falls steadily with age, and a tired lamp over the canopy shows up as excessive stretch, thin stems and a lower yield per watt. Fitting a fresh lamp every few cycles puts intensity back into your grow room without changing anything else.
How to Use
- Ballast: run it on a 1000W ballast rated for HPS lamps; it is designed for digital ballasts
- Fitting: screw it firmly into the E40 holder with the power off and the reflector cool
- Height: as a guide, start around 60cm above the canopy and adjust by watching leaf temperature
- Handling: keep fingers off the glass and wipe it with a clean dry cloth if touched
- Safety: the lamp emits UV - wear protective glasses when working under it, and let it cool before removing
