The Super-Pro Air-Pro E1 Fan Controller is a plug-and-play temperature-controlled fan speed controller for inline duct fans. Plug it into the wall, plug your fan into it, and set two dials: the target temperature and the minimum fan speed. Its digital sensing reads the room through the supplied 5m temperature probe and adjusts fan speed continuously to hold that temperature, rather than switching the fan on and off. It handles fans up to 6.5 amps.

Heat and Humidity Swings in the Tent?

A fan running flat out all night pulls temperatures down too far and strips humidity; left too slow in the day, heat builds under the lights. Either way plants spend part of every day outside their comfortable range. The E1 speeds the fan up only as the room warms and eases off as it cools, which keeps temperature and airflow steadier and noise lower.

How to Use

• Connect: plug the controller into a socket and your inline fan into the controller
• Probe: hang the temperature sensor in the centre of the grow space at canopy height, away from the lamp
• Minimum speed: set the lowest speed the fan should run at - if the fan stalls or hums, turn it up
• Temperature: set the target on the 10-35°C dial; the controller does the rest
• Manual: turn the temperature dial to manual (or run without the probe) and the fan runs at the set minimum speed
