A Flushing Powder That Clears Mineral Build-Up From the Root Zone
Super Leach is a rinsing powder formulated to break down and remove the mineral build-up that accumulates in a growing medium over repeated feeds, and which shows up as a slowly rising background EC. Left unchecked, this build-up is one of the most common causes of nutrient lock-out, where a plant shows deficiency symptoms even though the correct nutrients are being fed, simply because they can no longer be taken up properly.
It is used as a periodic flush during the grow cycle and again after the ripening stage, rather than as an everyday feed, to reset the medium before the next stage of growth or before harvest. Mixed into water and run through the growing medium until runoff appears, it is left to soak before a final flush with clean water clears the dissolved residue away.
It suits any medium that can build up mineral residue over time, including rockwool, coco, soil and soilless mixes, and recirculating hydroponic systems.
