SUPERthrive Pro-TeKt – Silicon Supplement for Plants

Silicon and Potassium for Stronger Stems and Tougher Plants

SUPERthrive Pro-TeKt is a potassium silicate supplement, NPK 0-0-3, that supplies soluble silicon and potassium for plants to build into their cell walls. The result is stiffer stems and branches that carry heavy flowers and fruit without flopping, faster growth and better tolerance of heat and drought. It works in soil, coco and hydroponics and can be fed at the roots or sprayed on the leaves.

Key Benefits

• Stronger cell walls - silicon adds mechanical strength to stems, so plants hold their own weight in late flowering.
• NPK 0-0-3 - a little extra potassium alongside the silicon, with no nitrogen to upset your base feed.
• Heat and drought tolerance - plants cope better with hot grow rooms and missed waterings.
• Natural defences - tougher leaf tissue helps plants resist insect attack and fungal infection.
• Any medium - soil, coco, rockwool and recirculating hydro.
• Root feed or foliar - use in the tank, by hand-watering or as a leaf spray.

Weak Stems and Plants That Wilt Under Heat?

Fast, soft growth under strong lights often leaves stems too weak to carry the crop, and a warm grow room or a dry spell makes them droop. Silicon is not in most base feeds, so a dedicated silica supplement is the simplest way to put it back.

How to Use

• Add it first: mix Pro-TeKt into plain water before any other nutrient, stir, then add your base feed and set pH last. Pro-TeKt is alkaline, so never mix the concentrate with an acidic fertiliser.
• Recirculating hydro: 0.65-1.3 ml per litre (1/2-1 tsp per US gallon).
• Soil and coco, every watering: 1.3-2.6 ml per litre (1-2 tsp per US gallon).
• Foliar spray: 0.3-0.65 ml per litre (1/4-1/2 tsp per US gallon), sprayed onto the leaves.
• Single-head dosers: apply Pro-TeKt as a separate feed.
