Description
Move Your Telos Driver Off the Light and Out of the Tent
The Telos Remote Driver Cable is a 3 metre lead that fits between a Telos LED grow light and its driver, so the driver no longer has to hang with the fixture. The light itself becomes thinner and lighter to hang, and the driver can be mounted outside the grow tent or grow room, taking its heat out of the growing space — a real help when a small or warm tent is fighting high canopy temperatures. The cable is sealed to IP66 against water and dust, and its twist-lock connectors are made to Telos's specification by German connector specialist Wieland Electric, so each joint locks positively and cannot be knocked apart.
Key Benefits
- 3 m of reach between the light and its driver
- Driver heat kept out of the tent — helps lower the temperature around the canopy
- Slimmer, lighter fixture — easier to hang and raise on ratchet hangers
- IP66 waterproof and dustproof — at home in a humid grow room
- Wieland twist-lock connectors — a secure, tool-free connection at both ends
How to Use
- Switch off and unplug the light at the mains before disconnecting anything.
- Separate the driver from the light at its twist-lock connector.
- Fit the cable between the light and the driver, twisting each connector until it locks.
- Mount the driver where air can move freely around it — outside the tent or on a wall — and route the cable so its weight never pulls on either connector.
