Terra Aquatica Calcium Magnesium Supplement is a straightforward CalMag correction for growers on reverse osmosis, rainwater or naturally soft supplies. Both elements are secondary macronutrients, needed in far larger amounts than the trace elements, and a shortfall shows up quickly under strong lighting where transpiration is high.

Interveinal yellowing and crispy leaf tips under strong light

Yellowing between the veins of older leaves with the veins still green is classic magnesium shortage, and brown crisping on the youngest leaf tips is usually calcium. Both look like nutrient burn and both get worse the harder you drive the lights. On soft or RO water the base feed cannot cover it, and pushing EC higher makes matters worse rather than better.

How to Use

• Soft or RO water: 1 ml per litre as standard, added to plain water before the base feed
• Hard water: usually unnecessary - test first, and only add if a deficiency is visible
• High-intensity lighting: up to 2 ml per litre through peak flower where transpiration is highest
• Foliar correction: 2 ml per litre as a light mist for a fast fix, lights off, avoiding open flowers
• Mixing: never add alongside a concentrated phosphate feed - add to water first and stir
