FlashClean is a concentrated cleaner from Terra Aquatica that redissolves the precipitated mineral salts left behind by mineral feeding. It lifts deposits from clay pebbles, coco, soil and perlite and clears them out of drip lines, drainage pipes and pumps, so the system keeps running as designed. Unlike most cleaners it does not rely on enzymes, using a different chemistry to break down the deposits, which means it stays effective in conditions where enzyme products struggle. It also works as a pre-harvest flushing agent. Available in 1 litre and 5 litre.

How Salt Build-Up Creeps Up on You

Nothing dramatic happens the first week. Salts accumulate slowly on the surfaces of the medium and inside the lines, EC in the root zone climbs above what your meter says is in the tank, and uptake tightens. Growth flattens off and it gets blamed on light, or heat, or the strain. Regular cleaning removes the accumulation before it reaches the point where the plant is fighting the medium it is growing in.

How to Use

• Add to the reservoir and run through the system to clean lines and media.
• Use routinely through the grow to prevent deposits rather than remove them later.
• Run as a flush in the final days before harvest with plain water.
