The nitrogen and trace-element core of the TriPart programme, built for soft water

TriPart Micro Soft Water is the first part of Terra Aquatica's three-part base feed, formerly sold as GHE FloraMicro. It carries the nitrogen, calcium and full chelated trace-element package the other two parts leave out. The soft water version is the one to use when your supply is naturally soft or you grow on reverse osmosis water, because it brings its own calcium and magnesium rather than assuming your water already has it.

Pale new growth and rusty leaf edges on RO water

Soft and reverse osmosis water strips out the calcium and magnesium a plant expects to find. The result is weak roots, interveinal yellowing on the newest leaves and poor nutrient uptake even when the EC reads correctly. Micro Soft Water replaces what the filter removed, so the trace elements in your feed can actually be used instead of sitting locked in the reservoir.

How to Use

Vegetative growth: 3 ml per litre of Micro, alongside Grow and Bloom at the ratio on the feed chart
Early flower: 3 ml per litre, with Bloom rising and Grow falling back
Late flower: 2 ml per litre as the plant moves off nitrogen
Order matters: add Micro to plain water and stir before Grow or Bloom go in - never mix the concentrates together
Target pH: 5.5 to 6.2 in hydroponics, 6.0 to 6.5 in coco. Check EC after mixing, not before

Note — TriPart Micro comes in hard-water and soft-water versions: over 70 mg/L of calcium in your tap water use the hard-water Micro, below that or on RO use this soft-water one. Micro always goes into plain water FIRST, before Grow and Bloom — never mix the concentrates together.
