The TrolMaster WCS-2 Water Content 3-in-1 Sensor is an advanced grow media monitoring tool designed for use with the Aqua-X, Aqua-X Pro and Hydro-X Pro control systems. This sensor measures three key root zone parameters simultaneously: water content percentage, grow media temperature and EC (electrical conductivity). By monitoring these critical conditions inside the growing medium, growers can make more precise irrigation and nutrient management decisions in hydroponics and indoor growing setups.

The WCS-2 features a five-prong probe that is inserted directly into the growing medium such as soil, coco or rockwool. The sensor continuously measures conditions within the root zone and displays real-time data on the built-in LCD display, while also sending readings to the main TrolMaster controller and the TM+ Pro mobile app.

How to Use

1. Insert the five-prong sensor probe horizontally into the growing medium approximately one-third of the way up from the bottom of the container or rockwool block.

2. Ensure the sensor cable exits sideways rather than vertically to maintain accurate readings.

3. Connect the WCS-2 to a compatible TrolMaster controller (Aqua-X, Aqua-X Pro or Hydro-X Pro).

4. Allow the sensor to initialise and begin transmitting real-time data.

5. View readings directly on the LCD module, through the controller display, or via the TM+ Pro mobile app.

6. Adjust irrigation schedules and nutrient strength based on the water content, EC and temperature readings.

Multiple sensors can be connected to a single controller to monitor different plants or zones within a grow room.
