The TrolMaster WCS-2 Water Content 3-in-1 Sensor measures water content percentage, grow media temperature and EC simultaneously from one five-prong probe pushed into soil, coco or rockwool. Built for the Aqua-X, Aqua-X Pro and Hydro-X Pro platforms, it gives a far fuller picture of the root zone than a moisture reading alone, feeding live data to the controller and the TM+ Pro app.

Fixing guesswork around watering and feed strength

Overwatering, uneven dry-back and incorrect EC in the media are major causes of weak roots, poor nutrient uptake and reduced yields, and none of them are obvious from outside the pot. By tracking water content, EC and temperature together inside the medium, the WCS-2 lets growers dial irrigation timing and feed strength on real data rather than a fixed schedule, preventing salt build-up and inconsistent growth from veg through flower.

How to Use

• Insert the five-prong probe horizontally, roughly a third of the way up the container or rockwool block.
• Keep the cable exiting sideways rather than vertically for accurate readings.
• Connect the WCS-2 to a compatible controller (Aqua-X, Aqua-X Pro or Hydro-X Pro).
• Allow the sensor to initialise and begin transmitting live data.
• View readings on the LCD module, the controller display or the TM+ Pro app.
• Adjust irrigation and nutrient strength based on the water content, EC and temperature readings.
