The TrolMaster WCS-1 Water Content Sensor measures the moisture percentage directly inside soil, coco or other growing media and feeds real-time data to the Aqua-X irrigation control system. Instead of watering to a fixed timer and hoping, growers get an actual reading from the root zone to base irrigation on, helping maintain consistent moisture for healthier development and better nutrient uptake. Up to 8 WCS-1 sensors can run on a single Aqua-X controller, so multiple pots or zones across a grow tent or room can be monitored at once, with readings shown on the sensor's LCD, the controller and the TM+ mobile app.

How to Use

1. Insert the WCS-1 probe into the growing medium near the plant's root zone.
2. Connect the sensor to the Aqua-X irrigation controller.
3. Assign the sensor address with the built-in button if running more than one.
4. Let the system begin measuring water content in real time.
5. Check readings on the sensor display, Aqua-X controller or TM+ app.
6. Adjust irrigation timing based on the moisture data to hold optimal root-zone conditions.
