Trolmaster Aqua-X Water detector (WD-2)

The TrolMaster WD-2 Water Detector is designed to provide early leak detection within indoor growing environments. Water leaks from irrigation systems, reservoirs or plumbing can quickly cause damage to equipment and disrupt hydroponic systems. The WD-2 helps protect your grow room by detecting water on the floor and sending an alert through the connected TrolMaster control system.

When connected to a Hydro-X controller, the WD-2 continuously monitors the area where it is installed. If water is detected, the system immediately sends an alert to notify the grower, allowing quick action before the issue escalates. This added protection helps prevent damage to electrical equipment, climate control systems and hydroponic infrastructure.

Leak detection is particularly important in automated irrigation setups where pumps, valves and reservoirs operate continuously during vegetative growth and the flowering stage.

How to Use

1. Connect the WD-2 water detector to the Hydro-X controller using the supplied RJ12 cable.

2. Place the Touch Spot sensor pad on the floor or near areas where leaks may occur, such as reservoirs, pumps or irrigation lines.

3. Use the RJ12 T-splitter if connecting multiple sensors within the system.

4. Power on the controller and confirm the sensor is recognised.

5. If water is detected by the sensor pad, the Hydro-X system will automatically send an alert to notify the grower.
