The Beta-8 uses a high-quality NDIR (Non-Dispersive Infrared) CO₂ sensor to measure CO₂ levels near the plant canopy and automatically activate CO₂ equipment when levels drop below the set point.

With a built-in photocell that detects day and night cycles, the controller ensures CO₂ supplementation only occurs when grow lights are on. This prevents wasted CO₂ during the dark period and helps maintain efficient indoor growing conditions across hydroponics, coco or soil systems.

How It Solves Grow Problems

How to Use

1. Mount the CO₂ sensor near the plant canopy using the included sensor cable.

2. Connect the sensor to the Beta-8 controller.

3. Plug your CO₂ regulator or generator into the Beta-8 controller outlet (maximum 10A).

4. Set the desired CO₂ PPM target range on the LED display.

5. Adjust the deadband setting to control how tightly the system maintains the CO₂ range.

6. The controller will automatically activate the CO₂ device when levels drop below the set point and stop once the target level is reached.
