Trolmaster - Expander Station (4RS-1)

The TrolMaster 4RS-1 Expander Station is a universal four-outlet power expansion module designed to increase the number of devices that can be controlled through the Hydro-X environmental control system. In larger indoor growing setups, multiple pieces of equipment such as fans, heaters, pumps and environmental devices may need to operate simultaneously. The 4RS-1 allows growers to safely power multiple devices from a single Hydro-X device module.

The unit connects to a compatible TrolMaster plug-in device module through a trigger cable. When the Hydro-X controller activates the connected module, the 4RS-1 sequentially powers each of its four outlets. A built-in delay between each outlet helps reduce electrical start-up surges, protecting equipment and improving system reliability inside grow tents or grow rooms.

How It Solves Grow Problems

As indoor growing setups expand, growers often need to run multiple pieces of equipment at once, including fans, climate devices and irrigation pumps. Starting multiple electrical devices at the same time can create large electrical surges that stress circuits and damage equipment.

How to Use

1. Connect the 4RS-1 trigger cable to a compatible TrolMaster Hydro-X device module.

2. Install the unit on a suitable 120–240V power circuit.

3. Connect the incoming power supply to the internal terminal block.

4. Plug the devices you wish to control into the four power outlets.

5. Configure the connected device module through the Hydro-X controller.

6. When the module activates, the 4RS-1 will power each outlet sequentially with a short delay between them.
