Run four devices from a single Hydro-X module

The TrolMaster 4RS-1 Expander Station is a universal four-outlet power expansion module that lets one Hydro-X device module control up to four powered devices at once. As a grow room fills with fans, heaters, pumps and climate gear, a single device module quickly runs out of capacity - the 4RS-1 hangs off that module via a trigger cable and switches its four outlets in sequence, each on its own high-capacity relay.

Switching several devices on at the same instant creates a large inrush current spike that stresses circuits, trips breakers and shortens equipment life. The 4RS-1 staggers each outlet with a 3-second delay, so devices power up one after another and multiple loads run safely from a single control module.

How to Use

1. Connect the 4RS-1 trigger cable to a compatible TrolMaster Hydro-X device module.
2. Install the unit on a suitable 120-240V power circuit and wire the incoming supply into the internal terminal block.
3. Plug the devices you want to control into the four outlets.
4. Configure the connected device module through the Hydro-X controller.
5. On activation, the 4RS-1 powers each outlet in sequence with a short delay between them.
