The TrolMaster HS-1 Humidistat Station lets a Hydro-X environmental control system operate commercial dehumidifiers that accept an external humidistat signal. Rather than switching the dehumidifier's full electrical load directly, it works from a low-voltage control signal, a safer and more reliable way to automate humidity in grow tents and grow rooms across hydroponics, coco and soil.

High humidity is one of the biggest risks in indoor growing, especially in bloom, where excess moisture encourages mould, bud rot and poor bud density. The HS-1 lets the Hydro-X controller switch a commercial dehumidifier on and off automatically to hold humidity in range, so plants put energy into nutrient uptake and root development rather than fighting damp air. It is particularly valuable in larger rooms where dense canopies and intense lighting drive humidity up.

How to Use

1. Connect the HS-1 to the Hydro-X controller with one of the included RJ12 cables.
2. Assign the module address in the Hydro-X system settings.
3. Wire the HS-1 to the dehumidifier's external humidistat terminals using low-voltage control wiring.
4. Confirm the dehumidifier supports external humidistat control.
5. Set the target humidity range in the controller.
6. The system activates the dehumidifier automatically once humidity exceeds the set point.
