The TrolMaster DSH-2 / DSH-2U Humidity Device Station Plug connects a standard dial-controlled humidifier or dehumidifier to a Hydro-X environmental control system, giving fully automated humidity management from a unit that has no built-in humidistat of its own. Rated for 240V plug-and-play operation, it lets Hydro-X switch the connected device on and off to hold your target range through vegetative growth and flowering.

Fixing humidity swings without a smart humidifier

Excess humidity brings mould, weak stems and poor bud density in bloom, while low humidity slows vegetative growth and limits nutrient uptake, and a basic dial-controlled unit cannot react to either on its own. The DSH-2 hands that control to Hydro-X, switching the device automatically to hold the correct range. It is designed for simple dial-based units; humidifiers with a built-in control panel or humidistat need a TrolMaster HS-1 Humidity Station instead.

How to Use

1. Connect the DSH-2 to your Hydro-X controller with the included RJ12 cable.
2. Plug the humidifier or dehumidifier into the DSH-2 device station.
3. Confirm the connected unit uses manual dial control, not a digital humidistat.
4. Set your target humidity in the Hydro-X controller.
5. Hydro-X then activates the device automatically to hold the set range.
