Description

Measure the Light That Actually Reaches Your Canopy

The TrolMaster MBS-PAR is a full-spectrum quantum PAR sensor that reads PPFD (photosynthetic photon flux density) at canopy height and feeds it to a Hydro-X controller, which then adjusts compatible lighting automatically to hold a target level. Instead of setting a dimmer percentage and hoping, growers get a live measurement of the usable light hitting the plants across LED, HID and other full-spectrum sources.

What's Included

  • 1 x Full Spectrum Quantum Sensor (MBS-PAR)
  • 1 x ½″ post clamp
  • 1 x 4ft RJ12 cable
  • 1 x RJ12 T-splitter
  • 2 x ½″ end caps

Key Benefits

  • Full-spectrum PPFD measurement with an improved spectral response tuned for modern LED lighting
  • Hydro-X integration automatically raises or lowers output to hold your set PPFD target
  • Accurate across LED, HID and other sources, so mixed rooms read reliably
  • Holds consistent intensity across tents and rooms for steadier growth stage to stage
  • Plug-and-play RJ12 install with post-clamp canopy mounting

Ending the Guesswork of Under- and Over-Lighting

Incorrect light intensity is one of the most common indoor growing faults: too little slows veg, too much stresses plants and wastes energy in flower. The MBS-PAR measures the exact PPFD at the canopy, and with the Hydro-X system the controller adjusts output to keep plants in their ideal range for each stage, improving photosynthesis, nutrient uptake and yield.

How to Use

  1. Mount the sensor at canopy height using the supplied post clamp.
  2. Connect it to the Hydro-X controller with the RJ12 cable.
  3. Use the RJ12 T-splitter if other modules or sensors share the network.
  4. Set your target PPFD in the Hydro-X settings.
  5. Connect compatible lighting to the Hydro-X control network.
  6. The controller then adjusts output automatically to hold the selected PPFD.
