For hydroponics growers using the Aqua-X controller, the DSP-2 can automate irrigation schedules or act as a master pump controller, ensuring water and nutrients are delivered exactly when needed. This helps prevent dry root zones, improves nutrient uptake and supports stronger root development.

In grow tents or grow rooms using Hydro-X or Tent-X systems, the module allows precise control of timed equipment such as pumps or airflow devices. This helps stabilise the growing environment during both vegetative growth and flowering, reducing stress on plants and helping maximise yield and bud density.

How to Use

1. Connect the DSP-2 to the TrolMaster Hydro-X, Tent-X or Aqua-X controller using the RJ12 cable.

2. Assign the module an address within the controller interface.

3. Plug the device you want to control (maximum 10A at 120V) into the DSP-2 outlet.

4. Program the timer schedule within the controller software.

5. For irrigation systems, configure the timer as a scheduled timer or recycling timer.

6. If using as a master pump in Aqua-X, connect the DSP-2 to the 24VAC module so the pump activates automatically when irrigation zones run.
