Ultra Silent Ducting from Hydro Crop Shop is flexible acoustic ducting built to dampen the drone of an inline fan running around the clock, supplied as a 10 metre run so you can route between fan, filter and vent in one piece without part-way joints. Standard thin-wall or lay-flat ducting lets that hum travel straight into the room below, which becomes a real problem when extraction runs overnight in a shared house or near neighbours. Swapping to a proper acoustic duct is one of the simplest ways to bring the noise down without touching your fan or filter.

How to Use

• Measure the run from fan to filter or vent and cut a little longer than needed to allow for gentle bends
• Slide the cut end over the spigot and secure with a duct clamp or strong tape for an airtight seal
• Repeat at the other connection
• Keep runs as straight as possible and avoid crushing the duct at tent ports, as flattened sections restrict airflow and reduce the sound-dampening effect
