The Uvonair UV-80H is an in-duct ozone generator that neutralises odours at the source rather than masking them, using UV lamps to generate ozone directly in the exhaust airstream as it passes through the unit. It slots into 8in (200mm) ducting on the exhaust side of a grow room's extraction run, so it treats the air as it leaves the space rather than sitting inside the tent itself, and is rated for rooms of roughly 5,000-10,000 cubic feet (150-300m³).
Output is switchable between a low setting, running a single bulb, and a high setting that brings a second bulb online for stronger odour rooms or larger extraction volumes, giving growers some flexibility to match ozone output to how much smell actually needs treating. A front-access panel means the bulbs can be serviced or replaced without removing the whole unit from the ducting run, which matters because the lamps have a working life and need swapping on a schedule to keep output at full strength. Uvonair is explicit that the UV-80H is not a substitute for a proper carbon filter — the two are complementary, with the carbon filter handling particulate and general odour load and the UV-80H providing an additional, continuous layer of odour destruction working 24/7 in the duct.
