A two-part hydro base for flowering and fruiting, balanced for soft water
VitaLink Hydro MAX Bloom Soft Water is the flowering half of VitaLink's two-part hydroponic base nutrient, made for soft tap water or reverse osmosis water. It shifts the balance toward phosphorus and potassium for flower set, fruit fill and ripening, and carries the extra calcium and magnesium soft water lacks. Fulvic acid and chelated micronutrients, with iron chelated as EDDHA, keep uptake strong through the heaviest weeks of demand. It suits recirculating and run-to-waste systems and will not taint the flavour of fruit, salad or herbs. It takes over from Hydro MAX Grow when flowers first show.

Poor fruit set and late-flower deficiencies on soft water
Flowering plants pull hard on calcium and magnesium just as P and K demand peaks. On soft or RO water a hard-water bloom feed leaves that shortfall uncovered, showing as leaf-edge scorch, blossom-end problems and small flowers or fruit. The Soft Water Bloom balances for that low-mineral starting point, so the plant has what it needs through the whole flowering phase.
How to Use
- Check your water first: below EC 0.4 use this Soft Water version; at 0.4-0.5 either version works; at 0.6-0.8 use Hard Water.
- Shake both bottles, add Part A to the reservoir and mix, then Part B and mix. Never combine A and B undiluted; always use equal amounts.
- Dose 3-4 ml/L of each part from flower initiation to peak flowering, following the VitaLink feed chart.
- pH 5.8-6.5 throughout; VitaLink pair it with Buddy PK from the second week of flowering.
