The VIVOSUN AeroLab THB1S is a Bluetooth thermo-hygrometer with a built-in Swiss-made sensor and a 3m external probe, so it can read two places at once – the room and the tent, or the canopy and below it. The 2.33in LCD shows temperature, humidity, VPD, the day's highs and lows and comfort-range indicators, and it pairs with the VIVOSUN app over Bluetooth 5.0 for live readings, alerts and two years of free cloud data. Accuracy is ±0.5°C (±0.9°F) and ±5% RH, refreshed every 2 seconds.

Why Read Humidity and VPD at the Canopy?
Temperature and humidity swing hard between lights-on and lights-off, and a reading by the door rarely matches what the plants feel. Too humid and you invite mould; too dry and plants close their stomata, slowing growth and nutrient uptake. A VPD reading at plant height, with a record of the overnight highs and lows, tells you straight away whether your extraction, heater, humidifier or dehumidifier settings are working.
How to Use
- Fit the three AAA batteries (included) and download the VIVOSUN app
- Pair it: hold the Pair/Channel button for 3 seconds with Bluetooth on, then add the device in the app
- Hang it in the tent just above the canopy with the strap, or stand or mount it where you want the main reading
- Plug in the probe and run it to the second spot – outside the tent or under the canopy – then press Pair/Channel to switch readings
- °C/°F: press the °C/°F button; hold it for 3 seconds to clear the max/min history
- Keep the probe in air – it measures air temperature and humidity and must not go in water or nutrient solution

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need Wi-Fi or a hub to use it?
No. It works on its own screen and pairs with your phone over Bluetooth within range. For readings and alerts while you are away, add a VIVOSUN GrowHub E42, E42A or E25, which acts as its Wi-Fi gateway.
What is the external probe for?
It gives a second reading 3m away from the unit – for example the canopy and the room, or inside and outside the tent. Switch between channels with the button or in the app. It measures air only, so never put it in water.
Can I see past readings?
Yes. The screen shows the day's highs and lows, and the VIVOSUN app keeps two years of temperature, humidity and VPD history free, which you can export.
