Flexible ducting that will not collapse under a fan

AeroSesh is Vivosun's reinforced aluminium ducting, built with a three-layer construction of aluminium foil, a PET layer and a further layer of aluminium foil. That build resists heat, moisture and — crucially — the crush that thin single-layer ducting suffers on the suction side of a fan. It comes in 4 inch and 6 inch lengths of 2.4 metres and an 8 inch length of 7.6 metres, so it matches most inline fans and carbon filters. Stainless steel clamps are included with each length.

What Cheap Ducting Does to Airflow

A ventilation system is only ever as good as the ducting carrying the air. Thin ducting partly collapses under suction, leaks at badly clamped joints and adds resistance the fan has to fight, which shows up as reduced extraction, worse odour control and more noise. Reinforced ducting keeps the bore open and the joints sealed, so the fan you paid for actually delivers the airflow it is rated at.

How to Use

• Measure the run and cut the ducting to length.
• Slide the ducting fully over the fan, filter or tent spigot.
• Tighten a stainless steel clamp at every joint for an airtight seal.
• Keep runs short and avoid sharp bends or kinks.
• Support long horizontal runs so the ducting cannot sag and pool moisture.
